KN1500 definitely works as a good controller with Garageband. Refer to the midi settings at Page 111 of the user manual which you can download in the members area. You'll also need the reference guide, again in the members area.

Hi Rayoc,
PRESS and HOLD the SET button.
You can then change the Panel Memory to NORMAL
Your rhythm and tempo will then stay the same when you swap panel memories.

Unfortunately, historically, Technics disposed of almost all archives when they disbanded the electronic musical instruments division. It's rare to find good information about the sy-1010 but I'll keep looking for a manual. Hopefully, someone who owns one…

Yes you can do that. Go into the digital drawbars and set them as you want. Go into SOUND EDIT. Press WRITE and save the Sound to a Memory. Hope that helps.

Does anyone know if it's possible to save individual draw-bar configurations on the k6000. I can't find anywhere in the handbook where this is mentioned but I feel sure that in such a comprehensive instrument such as this it must be possible.
